Chattooga River Trout Fishing Nov. 3, 2007

Greetings:
I took a young man on a trout fishing trip on Sat. Nov. 3 and he had a great time. The water temp. was 49 degrees and the fish were feeding, but no hatches. His father had purchased a half day trip for him, so we got there a few minutes after 8:00 and fished until 1:00. He caught three trout and lost a really nice fish that appeared to be 16-18".
He was relatively new to fly fishing, so we worked on the casting and line management. He was a good student and was managing the line well by the end of the trip.
His best fish was 13-14" and a beautiful rainbow.
If you would like to book a trip, check out my website (flyfishnorthamerica.com) or call me at (864) 238-1944.
It is beautiful on the river now with the fall colors, but that will change soon, as the leaves are dropping fast now. Water temps. will drop fast also.
Get outdoors and have fun!
L. Ross
